AC and DC motor elements are available. The Chopper Serie with lesser than 3micron inner taper run out and the Z-Line and Power-Line-Spindles with an inner taper run out of lesser than 1micron.

Air bearings are bearings with shaft and bearing bush separated by a thin air layer. Unlike traditional rolling element bearings this air layer allows for an almost friction-free movement, even at high speeds.
